Some people like [skill]Kindle Arrows[/skill][skill]Conjure Flame[/skill]
TBH it's not that effective an expenditure of attribute points. In most of PvE it's perfectly viable to add a little bit of damage to your Broad Head Arrow build or something, with maybe even a little bit of spiking with Triple and Needling Shot, but you will find that other skills are more useful.
Necromancer
There's the infamous touch ranger with [skill]Vampiric Touch[/skill][skill]Vampiric Bite[/skill][skill]Offering of Blood[/skill]
[wiki]Necrosis[/wiki] is somewhat viable with a [skill]Prepared Shot[/skill][skill]Apply Poison[/skill] build.
Mesmer
[skill]Epidemic[/skill] for spreading [skill]Broad Head Arrow[/skill]
[skill]Marksman's Wager[/skill][skill]Concussion Shot[/skill] works as a subsitute for proph only
Monk
Mostly condition removal like [skill]Mending Touch[/skill], not much else to offer. However, a self condition removal is a big thing in PvP, although not really in PvE.
Warrior
IAS like [skill]Flail[/skill][skill]Flurry[/skill] can be helpful in interrupting with [skill]Choking Gas[/skill] or [skill]Incendiary Arrows[/skill], or just shooting at a dazed target.
[skill]Practiced Stance[/skill][skill]Choking Gas[/skill][skill]Flurry[/skill] is a nice combo for interrupting with only Prophecies
There are some effective ways to use an Axe and Sword with R/W such as [skill]Expert's Dexterity[/skill][skill]Savage Slash[/skill][wiki]Distracting Strike[/wiki]
Then there's the infamous thumper. [skill]Rampage as One[/skill][skill]Hammer Bash[/skill][skill]Crushing Blow[/skill][skill]Bestial Mauling[/skill]
Prophecies version: [skill]Ferocious Strike[/skill][skill]Tiger's Fury[/skill][skill]Hammer Bash[/skill][skill]Crushing Blow[/skill]
Assassin
Another option for condition removal, [skill]Signet of Malice[/skill], although not as practical.
[skill]Assassin's Promise[/skill] is useful in some PvE-trapping purposes.
[skill]Expert's Dexterity[/skill] has great synergy with Dagger skills such as [skill]Golden Lotus Strike[/skill][skill]Fox Fangs[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill][skill]Horns of the Ox[/skill]
Ritualist
[skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill] + [wiki]Volley[/wiki] for AoE spiking and stuff
[skill]Oath Shot[/skill] + spirit spam
Dervish
Not really anything here... R/D scythe builds aren't really effective despite everything I've tried to make them work
Paragon
There are some R/P builds around with [skill]Heal as One[/skill][skill]Barbed Spear[/skill][skill]Poisonous Bite[/skill]
[skill]Expert's Dexterity[/skill][skill]Disrupting Throw[/skill] works nicely

Well, I'm partial to Choking Gas, which interrupts even if it isn't an "interrupt". I'm probably alone in that, but I've enjoyed playing CG even in HM.
I'll agree with Yanman - pick one and basically ignore it until you can change it, then make sure to unlock a few handy skills from each.

yes true ^^ And I suppose even if you combined Savage Shot/Dshot along with Choking Gas you would still have a 1/2 second interupt that could be used when needed for those 1 second spells.

Yes, you could, a choking gas ranger is essentially a 3-skill bar, with 5 free skill slots. But keep in mind that the disabling and damaging side-effects of the interrupt-skills will not work when the gas interrupts first.
